One compact box. Any sensor. No-code setup • Local or cloud • Machine health

Give your machines a voice.

SensoBlock connects existing industrial sensors or sensors selected with our help, filters and processes their data, then securely sends only what matters to the customer's preferred destination, local or EU-hosted cloud. One box makes machines report health, operating conditions and early warning signs before small issues become costly downtime.

Supported sensors

SensoBlock is a European-funded project through the Regional Programme North-East 2021-2027.

Funding details

Key benefits

One box for multiple sensors, focused on cost efficiency, simplicity and reliability.

Multiple sensors

Support for a broad range of sensors: vibration, temperature, pressure, motion, humidity, current, voltage, gas and more.

Real Time Monitoring

Messages and measurements delivered in real time through secure server communication.

Multiple protocols

Supports Modbus over Ethernet, 4-20mA, 0-10V, CAN, I2C, SPI and UART communication protocols.

Cost optimisation

Optimize costs by using the same device across multiple scenarios and sensors.

Non-invasive

Practical installation, without complex changes to existing infrastructure.

User friendly

Access data and notifications through a companion app, from phone or PC.

How it works

First, existing sensors, selected sensors or industrial devices are connected through supported interfaces such as Modbus over Ethernet, 4-20mA, 0-10V, CAN, I2C, SPI or UART. Then the device is configured with the customer's preferred data destination, EU-hosted cloud or local, and each sensor gets its own reading and filtering rules. After that, SensoBlock runs on its own.

1) Connect the right sensors

  • Connect to the right ports Existing sensors or sensors selected with our help are wired to the corresponding SensoBlock ports, using interfaces such as Modbus over Ethernet, 4-20mA, 0-10V, CAN, I2C, SPI or UART.
  • Choose where data goes During configuration, sensor data is routed to the customer's preferred environment: local storage, customer cloud or EU-hosted SensoBlock cloud.
  • Set each sensor's behavior Configure reading speed, filtering rules and processing options for every connected sensor.

2) Configure filtering and automation

SensoBlock can decide when and how data should be sent, reducing noise and keeping only the information that matters for monitoring, diagnostics and machine health.

Difference Threshold

Send values only when the difference exceeds a configured threshold.

Hysteresis

Avoid repeated triggers by defining stable return bands around thresholds.

Aggregation

Group readings into useful summaries before sending them onward.

And others

Additional filtering and processing methods can be configured per sensor.

Applications

SensoBlock can be configured for multiple industrial monitoring scenarios, from machine health to energy usage, safety and environmental conditions.

MACHINE HEALTH

Vibration & temperature monitoring

Track vibration and temperature on motors, pumps, fans and other machines to detect wear, overload or early failure signs.

ENERGY

Machine current consumption

Monitor current usage per machine to understand operating cycles, detect abnormal loads and identify energy waste.

UTILITIES

Pressure monitoring

Watch pneumatic, hydraulic or process pressure values and trigger alerts when thresholds or stability rules are breached.

SAFETY

Gas detection

Connect gas sensors to monitor hazardous or sensitive areas and send events to the client's local environment or EU-hosted cloud.

ENVIRONMENT

Temperature & humidity control

Track ambient conditions in production rooms, storage spaces or technical areas where climate stability matters.

OPERATIONS

Asset and warehouse monitoring

Use motion, position or contact sensors to monitor doors, cabinets, racks, storage zones and operational assets.

Why SensoBlock?

SensoBlock is built to be configured, reused and adapted without turning every sensor change into a software project.

No-code customization

Configure sensors, reading intervals, filtering rules and data destinations without writing custom firmware or software.

Reusable modular design

Use the same SensoBlock for different machines, sensors or projects by changing the configuration instead of replacing the device.

One compact box

No need for multiple devices to move sensor data to local infrastructure or EU-hosted cloud. One compact SensoBlock handles acquisition, processing and secure delivery.
